Welcome to Humble Harvest Co., LLC (“HHC”).
By using our website or purchasing through our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Nature of the Platform and Handling Disclaimer
Humble Harvest Co. (“HHC”) operates a virtual farmers market that connects local vendors with customers. Vendors are the sellers of record for all transactions.
HHC facilitates order collection, coordination, and delivery services on behalf of vendors and customers.
While HHC may temporarily handle, store, or transport vendor products solely for the purpose of customer pickup or delivery, HHC does not manufacture, repackage, or alter any goods.
All products remain under the responsibility and ownership of the vendor until received by the customer.
Vendors are fully responsible for preparation, labeling, safety, ingredient disclosure, allergen identification, and quality of their products at all times.
2. Customer Accounts
To place an order, customers must create an account and provide accurate contact, delivery, and payment information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Ordering, Pickup, and Delivery
Customers can shop multiple vendors in one order. Orders may be available for pickup at designated times and locations, or delivery within a local radius.
Delivery is coordinated by HHC and performed by independent drivers.
While we strive to meet all scheduled delivery windows, delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or vendor availability.
Perishable goods should be refrigerated or stored appropriately immediately after receipt.
4. Delivery Disclaimer
We take reasonable care in handling and delivering your orders. However, once items leave the vendor’s possession, Humble Harvest Co. acts solely as a delivery coordinator.
Delays, product condition, or damage resulting from transport or environmental factors are not warrantable.
HHC is not responsible for spoilage or changes in product quality due to delivery delays or customer absence.
5. Refund & Replacement Policy
Our goal is for every customer to receive fresh, high-quality products.
If you receive an item that is damaged, spoiled, or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery.
We’ll work with the vendor to issue a replacement or refund, as appropriate.
Refunds are at the discretion of Humble Harvest Co. and the vendor, and may be processed to the original payment method.
Vendors may be required to reimburse Humble Harvest Co. for refunded amounts related to their products.
6. Vendor Liability
All vendors selling through Humble Harvest Co. are independent sellers.
They are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal food safety laws, including ingredient labeling and allergen disclosure.
Humble Harvest Co. is not liable or responsible for verifying the safety or accuracy of vendor products.
All claims or complaints regarding product quality, ingredients, or allergens will be directed to the vendor.
a. Cottage Food Vendor & Product Policy
Some vendors featured on Humble Harvest Co., LLC operate under Michigan’s Cottage Food Law, which permits the sale of certain non-potentially hazardous foods made in home kitchens.
Cottage Food products:
Are made in unlicensed, uninspected home kitchens.
Must be sold directly by the vendor to the end customer.
Cannot be sold or delivered by Humble Harvest Co., LLC.
Humble Harvest Co., LLC provides an online directory to help customers discover local Cottage Food vendors.
All Cottage Food transactions are completed directly between the customer and the vendor.
Humble Harvest Co., LLC does not process payments, handle products, or act as a reseller of any Cottage Food items.
Customers purchasing Cottage Food products understand and agree that:
The vendor is solely responsible for the product’s labeling, safety, and compliance.
Humble Harvest Co., LLC bears no liability for any illness, injury, or damage arising from such products.
Payment and product exchange occur directly between the vendor and the customer.
7. Limitation of Liability
Humble Harvest Co.,LLC is not liable for any illness, injury, or damages resulting from vendor products or delivery services.
While HHC may temporarily handle or transport items, responsibility for safety and compliance remains with the vendor.
By purchasing through our platform, you agree to release HHC from any liability related to:
Product quality or freshness
Allergen exposure or undeclared ingredients
Delivery delays, errors, or spoilage outside our control
Vendor or driver negligence
HHC’s total liability to any user or vendor shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific transaction in dispute.
8. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. HHC collects personal information such as name, email address, phone number, and delivery address only to process orders and communicate with you.
We do not sell or rent your personal data.
Information may be shared with vendors or delivery drivers strictly for order fulfillment purposes.
All payments are processed securely through third-party providers (such as Square or Stripe).
We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.
9. Eco-Friendly Packaging
HHC encourages all vendors to use clean, minimal, and recyclable packaging to support sustainable, low-waste operations.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that products are safely packaged for transport and short-term handling.
10. Independent Drivers and Couriers
Deliveries are performed by independent contractors, not employees of HHC.
Each driver is responsible for their own vehicle, insurance, and safety compliance.
HHC is not responsible for incidents, delays, or damage occurring during third-party delivery.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the state of Michigan

HHC may update these Terms and Policies at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and are effective immediately upon publication.
